The Declaration of Independence, 1776
Every power a city, a county or a prison holds is borrowed, and the loan has terms. When a police department, a housing authority or a jail breaks them, the person who pays has the right to ask a court to call the power in.
That is all this firm does: four lawyers in Montgomery, working for people an institution has harmed. We take few cases, and we take them all the way.

Each claim is paired with a sample matter in outline. The matters are made-up examples, and none of them predicts what will happen in yours.
Sample matter: a deputy’s report called a roadside search voluntary. The dash camera recorded a demand, and the complaint quoted both.
Police and sheriff misconductSample matter: a county rental-aid waiting list that moved faster for some neighborhoods than others. The case began with the list itself, requested in full.
Discrimination in housing, lending and servicesSample matter: a school hearing held in a room up a flight of stairs, with a parent told to email ahead for help. A letter and a site visit followed, then a new policy.
Disability rightsSample matter: a man in a county jail whose prescribed insulin sat in a queue for days. The claim was built from the medication log, hour by hour.

A letter, a report number, a photograph, a date. Tell us what an institution did and we will tell you honestly whether we can help, or who can. Writing to us does not make us your lawyers, so please leave out anything confidential.
