One office, four kinds of case

Everyone here does civil rights work and nothing else. Choose the name closest to what happened, or write to the firm and we will route it.

  • Ezekiel Thackston, founding partner, in a black vest and paisley shirt against a gray studio backdrop

    Ezekiel Thackston

    Founding partner

Ezekiel founded the firm to take cases against police and sheriff’s departments, and he still argues its appeals. He reads the video before the report.

  • Prudence Satterfield, partner, smiling in a black coat and patterned top, with long ombre brown hair, against a purple and blue studio backdrop

Prudence takes the cases where an agency, a landlord or a lender applied one rule to some people and another to everyone else. She starts in the paperwork.

  • Solomon Kilgore, partner, in a gray textured suit and knit tie against a dark gray backdrop

Solomon represents people held in county jails and state prisons, and their families. He builds a case from the facility’s own logs.

  • Ainsley Gilchrist, associate, smiling with her chin on her hand in a dark jacket against a blue backdrop

Ainsley takes disability rights cases against schools and public offices. She writes the first letter, and often the last one.
